The Islamic Community calls on people to appreciate one another and exercise common sense.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Ali Mete continued his words as follows:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are worried about the Qur\u2019an burnings in Sweden and Denmark. There is no question that the sole purpose of these heinous acts is to provoke Muslims. We should not fall for these immature games. Without a doubt, the Qur\u2019anic teaching is firmly ingrained in the hearts of believers and is unaffected by these provocations.<\/p>\n<p>Freedom of expression is a value of great importance that must be fought for. It is one of the most important achievements of humanity. That said, it is not without boundaries in and of itself, and a balance must be struck in terms of the rights of individuals adversely affected by this incidence. This is especially true when, as in these instances, it is obvious that freedom of speech is being abused to propagate prejudice and hatred.<\/p>\n<p>This attitude applies equally to the persecution of members of other religions and their holy books.
