\u201cOn World Refugee Day, the overall situation is far from encouraging. Hundreds of migrants are perishing at the European Union\u2019s borders because emergency rescue teams fail to assist them, despite being aware of their presence in a timely manner. Simultaneously, EU nations are collectively imposing exceedingly stringent restrictions on the right to seek refuge.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the other hand, racist parties\u2019 votes are increasing in the polls in almost every region of Europe. As the Islamic Community Mill\u00ee G\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f, we are deeply concerned about this. We urge the governments of the EU member states to stick to their human rights principles and implement measures that promote accountability and humanity.<\/p>\n
Otherwise, it will first cause shared values to collapse, which will subsequently cause suffering and ruin for everyone. We will never be able to support a policy that prioritizes economic and national interests over the needs of the people.<\/p>\n
