Feminizm bu de\u011fi\u015fimin kad\u0131nlar i\u00e7in do\u011furdu\u011fu sonu\u00e7lara duyulan tepkinin \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcd\u00fcr. \u0130slam d\u00fcnyas\u0131 da k\u00fcreselle\u015fmeden nasibini alm\u0131\u015f (\u00e7o\u011fu zaman i\u015fgaller neticesinde) ve bir de\u011fi\u015fim ya\u015fam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Nazife \u015ei\u015fman, k\u00fcreselle\u015fme, feminizm ve \u0130slam kavramlar\u0131n\u0131n ve bu \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcn\u00fcn bir araya geli\u015finin analizini yap\u0131p kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131 &#8220;\u0130slam d\u00fcnyas\u0131 nas\u0131l bir tav\u0131r tak\u0131nmal\u0131d\u0131r?&#8221;\u009d sorusuyla ba\u015f ba\u015fa b\u0131rakt\u0131. <\/p>\n<p>Fatma K. Barbaroso\u011flu &#8220;Modernle\u015fme&#8221;\u009d konusuna de\u011findi. 1699 Karlof\u00e7a anla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n bir d\u00f6n\u00fcm noktas\u0131 oldu\u011funu ifade eden Barbaroso\u011flu, Karlof\u00e7a anla\u015fmas\u0131 ile Osmanl\u0131&#039;n\u0131n tarihinde ilk kez toprak kaybetti\u011fini ve bu kaybedi\u015fin &#8220;nas\u0131l bu hale geldik?&#8221;\u009d sorusunu g\u00fcndeme getirdi\u011fini ifade etti. O d\u00f6nemden g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar bu soruya cevap aram\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Barbarasoglu seminerde hem sorulan sorunun hem de verilen cevaplar\u0131n analizini yapt\u0131 ve bu sorunun do\u011furdu\u011fu toplumsal de\u011fi\u015fimi tarihten somut \u00f6rneklerle izah etti. Modernizm ne?&#8221;\u009d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 seminerde, s\u0131k\u00e7a kullan\u0131lan bu iki kavram\u0131n anlamlar\u0131na de\u011findi ve modernizmin M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131 ne denli etkiledi\u011fini g\u00f6zler \u00f6n\u00fcne sermek i\u00e7in (olumsuz bir \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131\u015f\u0131ma sahip) &#8220;gelenek&#8221;\u009d kavram\u0131n\u0131n (gelenek\u00e7iler taraf\u0131ndan dahi) kullan\u0131l\u0131yor olmas\u0131na i\u015faret etti.
