Throughout human history, gambling has appeared in various forms and under different names. In our era, with the influence of technology, it has become more widespread and accessible.

Amr bi al-Maruf wa’l-Nahy an al-Munkar

Amr bi al-Ma’ruf wa’l-Nahy an al-Munkar is one of the most significant responsibilities entrusted to us by our religion. This principle represents the act of commanding good and refraining from evil.

The Benefits of Umrah

In a religious life, there are both material and spiritual journeys. The acts of Hajj and Umrah encompass both types of journeys.

The Virtue of Congregational Prayer

Prayer, the ascension of the believer, the pillar of our faith and the first act to be accounted for on the Day of Judgment, is one of the five pillars of Islam. Five times a day, in every part of the world, we are called to salvation and to stand in the presence of our Lord in a language that all Muslims understand.

Our Guide: The Quran

Allah (swt), who created the earth as a testing ground for humanity, did not leave us alone during this test. Through the messengers and books He sent, He has taught and shown us right from wrong, truth from lie and good from evil.

Arqam ibn Abi al-Arqam

Arqam ibn Abi al-Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), who was honoured by the light of Islam at a young age, had the privilege of being one of the first Muslims to respond to the call of the Prophet (saw). At that time, the spread of Islam was still done in secret, and the believers had to act cautiously to protect themselves from the persecution of the polytheists. Muslims needed a safe place where they could come together, learn knowledge and worship.

Every Life Matters!

Muslim life is not just about worshiping. Beyond worship, fulfilling our responsibilities towards humanity, society and the environment that our Lord has placed upon us is a necessity and manifestation of living as a Muslim.

Preparation for the Hereafter

Just as it is a reality and truth that we are currently living in this world, death and the eternal afterlife are equally real and true.

Mawlid al-Nabi

InshAllah, we will commemorate the 1453rd anniversary of the arrival of our prophet Muhammad (saw), the Seal of the Prophets who was sent as a mercy to the worlds, tomorrow evening in our mosques with our families. On this occasion, as I begin the khutba, I congratulate both your Jumah and the blessed day of Mawlid al-Nabi, and I pray to Allah (swt) for it to bring goodness to humanity.
