Manners of the Khutba

The Messenger of Allah (saw) did not lead any Friday prayer without giving a khutba and said, "Pray as you have seen me pray. ”[1] If the khutba was not one of the conditions of the Friday prayer, the Messenger of Allah (saw) would have sometimes neglected the khutba to indicate this. However, no such thing has been conveyed. Therefore, the Friday prayer is not valid without the khutba.

Within the drawn borders, there are principles, rules, orders and prohibitions related to our personal and social life. These are called "Hudûdullâh" in the Qur'an. We have been informed that if we obey Hudûdullâh, we will attain the honour of gaining success in this world and the hereafter, and that there is a humiliating torment when we cross the line.

He accepted this invitation of the Prophet at the very first meeting and became one of the young people who believed in him. Upon the increasing pressures of the Makkan polytheists, the Prophet (saw) needed a place where he could meet with Meccans.

At the stage of human life, there is birth and childhood like spring, which is the first of the seasons, youth like summer, maturity like autumn, and finally old age and death like winter.

Our religion, Islam, commands us to be ethical in business as well as in all areas of life. Allah (swt) says, “And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even [i.e., honest] balance. That is the best [way] and best in result.”[6] In trade, it is necessary to observe the rights of people and not to transgress them. Let's not waste our hereafter with the ambition of making profit.
